DOUG MOTEL is the Writer/Performer of SHIVA ARMS (winner L.A. Weekly & Theatre LA Ovation awards) is based on a true story and was originally directed by Michael Michetti in Los Angeles. Other solo shows include; MIND SALAD (L.A. Weekly Award nomination), PRAESTIGUM, STARDUST, THIS IS THE SHOW (a memoir told with his original pop music), and WE THE (party) PEOPLE (an evening of characters affected by the Trump presidency). His solo plays have been produced in the U.S. the U.K. and Europe.
